Our Staff

Staff VolunteerWICECBoard of Directors

In 2004, with a major grant from the Bradshaw-Knight Foundation of Madison,Our Staff
the Wisconsin Climate and Energy Campaign (WICEC) re-organized as an independent entity.

The Rev. Dave Steffenson (original founder of the group) serves as the Education Coordinator and part time Executive Director. New officers are elected at the Board of Directors meeting every spring.

WICEC became a nonprofit Wisconsin corporation in 2004 and began the process of seeking IRS 501c3 tax exempt status. In the spring of 2005 WICEC obtained its 501c3 status as a public charity, enabling the group to receive grants and gifts from donors, expressly to use for climate change action.

All are welcome on the information and alert mailing list; however, we do urge supporters to join efforts as members.

Annual memberships are $35 for individuals; $20 for seniors, students, or those of low income. There are organizational memberships available for $100 -$ 500, depending upon the size of the organization. Congregational memberships are $100.
